ABOUT VEHICLE:
- We provide exclusive vehicles in our packages.
- Non a/c Wagon R/Alto for 1-3 Pax including child.
- Scorpio/Xylo for 6 pax including child.
- Gangtok city tour may be done by Maruti Van/Wagon R (4 people in a car).
- If guests are booked for luxury vehicle, Scorpio/Xylo will be provided as per availability.
- Only 06 heads are allowed in 01 Scorpio/Xylo including child. In case the number of heads traveling increases, then the guest will have to take another vehicle.
- Most of the hotels do not have parking place & vehicle cannot be parked in front of the gates for longer period hence guests should wait at the reception 5 minute before the departure to avoid the inconveniences.
- Due to vehicle-parking difficulty, most of the areas are restricted to entry of vehicle & specific time is allotted for entries. Kindly follow the time strictly as given to you.
- In No Parking Zones, the vehicle will get parked in an available parking area. In such a case, you will have to wait for the vehicle to come to your designated area. Please be patient as the driver will have to come through traffic. Please coordinate with the driver
PERTAINING TO DOCUMENTS REQUIRED & ENTRY FORMALITIES INVOLVED FOR THE ITINERARY
- Special note on travelling with infant: We have noted that the guest is travelling with an infant. Hence visiting Tshangu Lake is not advisable as the altitude of Tshangu Lake is high and it is cold throughout the year. The medical facilities are also very poor. Instead we are providing Gangtok Local Sightseeing.
- Travelling during Monsoon: Monsoon generally hits the southern tip of Kerala towards mid of June & it takes another 10 to 15 days generally to touch the area of Eastern India belt. This is the pre monsoon time here. During this time the roads connecting Lachung & Lachen (North Sikkim), gets even more rough & challenging. We do not recommend these places till the mid of September. Kindly suggest the guest to restrict their tour to Gangtok, Pelling, Namchi, Kalimpong & Darjeeling.
- Monsoon inconvenience: Guest opting to travel during this time are requested to enjoy the exquisite attractions with various shades of green in mother nature. During this time the weather will be soggy & cloudy. It generally rains on and off or sometimes continuously for a week.
- Note on Tarpaulin: Since it will be raining on and off during that point of time. The luggage has to fit inside the vehicle so that it will be saved from getting wet. After accommodating 06 pax inside the vehicle there will be no space for luggage to fit inside the vehicle the luggage will have to go on rooftop carrier. However, it is covered and tied with Tarpaulin there is very high chances that the luggage will get wet. Moreover being the monsoon period in the area it is advisable that the guest opt for 02 vehicles so that the luggage's can fit inside of the vehicle itself. For your feasibility, we have quoted you on both 01 & 02 vehicle for 06 heads.
PERTAINING TO PACKAGE RATES
- The package cost provided is a combination of two quotes & is inclusive of GST. At the time of confirmation, we will provide you the two different bills. One for Hotel booking as per Pure Agent through a different company & for other services as per tour package. The payment will have to be deposited into two different accounts, as specified on the confirmation mail.
- Special noting for HNI / VIP / CIP Guest : In case you have any HNI / VIP / CIP guest, please call & check, thereby help us to suggest the itinerary, hotel & services accordingly. This quotation is drawn as per general service, keeping the market competition in view. This service is not recommended for HNI / VIP / CIP Guest.
- The rates given below remains valid for 07 days from the date of quote for travel between Friday, 28th June 2024 to Wednesday, 03rd July 2024. We are not holding any bookings against the quoted rates.
- About Monument Entrance Fee: The Monument entrance fee is not included in the package cost. The guest will have to pay it directly on the spot for self & Trip Leader (if opted for).
PERTAINING TO OPERATIONAL CONDITION FOR THE QUERY
Suggest to book early morning arrival flight: Since the itinerary is staring with Gangtok, kindly book the early morning flights reaching Bagdogra.
Hotels with no lift facility: Most of the hotels, in the area do not have lift. One has to climb stairs to reach the lobby or the allotted rooms. In case of problems related to blood pressure, breathing, knee & heart or even if the guest cannot climb higher floors, then we request them to let us know at the time of query level. If this problem is highlighted, the Service Support Team gets time to handle in advance and change the hotel with the convenient one. In case of any difference in price arising due to this displacement, the quoted amount will be changed.
Walk involved during sightseeing: Being a mountain destination, most of the sightseeing points involves, walking & climbing stairs. The guests are requested to carry comfortable walking shoes to avoid inconvenience & discomfort.
Pelling during Monsoon: Tourists generally visit Pelling for view of mountain ranges & enjoy the exquisite natural attractions. August being monsoon month, the mountains will be covered by clouds and the view will get disrupted. Promptly intimate the guests on the above in order to avoid any confusion/complaints while on tour.
Right to Change the Itinerary: Every effort will be made to maintain the itinerary, in view of local strikes, landslide etc., which are beyond our control all schedule and itineraries are subject to last moment changes and any additional cost, will be borne by the guests directly. Based on the operational conditions, at the time of actual travelling, the itinerary could be altered and changed. All such right are reserved with the operating company.
PERTAINING TO HOTEL SERVICES
Uneven room size in Hotels in Mountain /Remote area: Due to the topography of the area, all room size in Hotels located particularly in mountains/remote areas will not be of same size. Guest travelling especially in groups, will have to be mentally prepared for this compromise. In the past we have received complaints regarding uneven room size for each family. This situation is beyond our control and the guests needs to be properly briefed in advance regarding the same in order to avoid any complaints/confusion while on tour.
PERTAINING TO THE TRANSPORTATION SERVICE FOR THE ITINERARY.
Vehicle Release & Cancellation – Since the availability of the vehicles are limited in number, cancellation rules will be applicable on the complete tour package including the transport cost.
PERTAINING TO DOCUMENTS REQUIRED & ENTRY FORMALITIES INVOLVED FOR THE ITINERARY
Entry Formalities & Documents Requirement for Indian nationals travelling to Sikkim & Darjeeling: Guests availing the services are requested to bring / submit the following documents.
a) Valid Passport, Election ID card, Driving License or any documents issued by Central or State Government having Photo, Name and the address will be considered as valid ID Proof only.
b) For Children below 18 Years and does not have Passport, in such case they will have to carry their original Birth Certificate (in English / not regional language) supported by either Aadhar Card or School ID.
c) Original ID of each member travelling, whether adult or child has to be carried while travelling.
d) There has been cases of tourist, who have landed in entry points with their Passport but did not bring the original OCI / PIO cards (OCI / PIO cards, are not considered as Indian proof & is considered as an invalid document, without the Passport in original). Such tourists were not eligible to enter & entry was denied.
