About Vehicle:
- We provide exclusive vehicles in our packages.
- Scorpio/Xylo for 6 pax including child.
- Gangtok city tour may be done by Maruti Van/Wagon R (4 people in a car).
- If guests are booked for luxury vehicle, Scorpio/Xylo will be provided as per availability.
- Only 06 heads are allowed in 01 Scorpio/Xylo including child. In case the number of heads traveling increases, then the guest will have to take another vehicle.
- Most of the hotels do not have parking place & vehicle cannot be parked in front of the gates for longer period hence guests should wait at the reception 5 minute before the departure to avoid the inconveniences.
- Due to vehicle-parking difficulty, most of the areas are restricted to entry of vehicle & specific time is allotted for entries. Kindly follow the time strictly as given to you.
- In No Parking Zones, the vehicle will get parked in an available parking area. In such a case, you will have to wait for the vehicle to come to your designated area. Please be patient as the driver will have to come through traffic. Please coordinate with the driver
The Following Points Are To Be Noted For Child Rate
Majority of the hotels follows the child policy mentioned below:
- Children above 10+ years will be considered as an adult and will be charged as per EPSR rate.
- Children of 5+ to 10 sharing room with bed / rollaway or mattress will be charged as per CWB rate.
- Children of 5+ to 10 sharing room without bed / rollaway or mattress will be charged as per CNB rate.
- Children below 5 years will be complimentary without bed (sharing the parent’s room).
- Note : Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof document, so that it can be provided when asked for.
Pertaining To Package Rates
- Special noting for HNI / VIP / CIP Guest : In case you have any HNI / VIP / CIP guest, please call & check, thereby help us to suggest the itinerary, hotel & services accordingly. This quotation is drawn as per general service, keeping the market competition in view. This service is not recommended for HNI / VIP / CIP Guest. The recommended service for this category of client should be Gold Package which is limited.
- The quoted rates, are per person, Nett & Non Commissionable, valid for Indian Nationals (those eligible for Indian Passport).
- The rates given below remains valid for 07 days from the date of quote for travel between Saturday, 19th March 2022 to Monday, 28th March 20221. We are not holding any bookings against the quoted rates.
Pertaining To Operational Condition For The Query
- Suggest to book early morning arrival flight: Since the itinerary is staring with Pelling, kindly book the early morning flights reaching Bagdogra.
- Changing your request into 01 Nts Lachung & 02 Nts Lachen (ideal way of doing it): Lachung (8000 Ft / 2439 Mts) falls at a high altitude. Excursion to Yumthang (11800 Ft / 3598 Mts) and further excursion to Zero Point (Yumesomdong) is located at an altitude of 15300 Ft / 4665 Mts. Lachen itself is situated at 9500 Ft / 2896 Mts falls at a high altitude. Excursion to Chopta Valley (13124 Ft / 4000 Mts) and further excursion to Gurudongmar is too located at an altitude of 17800 Ft / 5427 Mts. You will notice that the mentioned heights are at least 4000 feet higher than any highest place in America & Europe. While visiting to these areas without proper acclimatization there is a very high chance of one falling sick. It could also cost the life to a traveller. When we are doing 01 Nts Lachung & 02 Nts Lachen the passenger do not miss anything & slowly gets from a lower to a higher altitude which is the ideal way of doing it. Also it cuts down the driving time on the last day by 04 to 05 hrs making the itinerary more enjoyable.
- Nathula permit formalities: Nathula Pass is an optional tour (closed for tourists on every Monday & Tuesday), which can be availed on the day, the guests are visiting Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir. Nathula Pass permits are applied 24 hrs prior to the travel date and the permit is issued on the day of travel. In case, the permit is not issued, the collected supplement cost, will be returned. In case the permit is issued, there will be no refund, for not visiting Nathula Pass, irrespective of the reason. The cost for the same is given under the Supplement and Optional sub-head (along with the costing).
- Walk involved during sightseeing: Being a mountain destination, most of the sightseeing points involves, walking & climbing stairs. The guests are requested to carry comfortable walking shoes to avoid inconvenience & discomfort.
- Right to Change the Itinerary: Every effort will be made to maintain the itinerary, in view of local strikes, landslide etc., which are beyond our control all schedule and itineraries are subject to last moment changes and any additional cost, will be borne by the guests directly. Based on the operational conditions, at the time of actual travelling, the itinerary could be altered and changed. All such right are reserved with the operating company.
Pertaining To Documents Required & Entry Formalities Involved For The Itinerary
- Entry Formalities & Documents Requirement for Indian nationals travelling to Sikkim & Darjeeling:
Guests availing the services of Nathula, Baba Mandir, Tshangu Lake & North Sikkim (Lachung, Yumthang Excursion, Yumesomdong (Zero Point)) are requested to bring / submit the following documents.
a) 06 passport size photographs of each member travelling whether Adult or Child with their name, age & gender written behind each photograph.
b) Original along with photo Copy of the photo ID of each member travelling, whether adult or child.
c) Valid Passport, Election ID card, Driving License or any documents issued by Central or State Government having Photo, Name and the address will be considered as valid ID Proof only. Aadhar Card & Pan Card are not accepted as valid ID Proof for issuance of Sikkim Restricted Area Permit (RAP).
d) Upon your arrival, our office representative will hand over a blank envelope, in which you will have to put all the above documents and leave it at the Hotel Reception in Gangtok, at the time of check in.
e) For Children below 18 Years and does not have Passport, in such case they will have to carry their School / College ID. In such a case, it is also advisable to carry photo copy along with the original Birth Certificate (in English / not regional language).
f) There has been cases of tourist, who have landed in entry points with their Passport but did not bring the original OCI / PIO cards (OCI / PIO cards, are not considered as Indian proof & is considered as an invalid document, without the Passport in original). Such tourists were not eligible to enter & entry was denied.
